These are the miniatures I worked on on the train to Portland and in the hotel once we arrived.

Train View Out, 10-7-2025
Went round and round with this one and it ended up a bit detached from reality. Still I think it works. Ended up using very dilute (rinse water) to show dirty windows on the train. Mixed Media, Underprint, acrylics, Posca and Micron pens. 2 coats Liquitex Gloss Varnish. 3.5x2.5"

Looking out a moving train window (Empire Builder) over the fields to the woods beyond, Mixed Media, underprint, Micron, Posca and gel pens, acrylics. 2 coats Liquitex Gloss Varnish. 2.5"x3.5"

The underprint is from an in studio muse shoot titled 'polishing the knob' taken on 8-17-2024. At 3.5x2.5" it looks good to my old eyes. Enlarged it has me thinking I might need to work with a magnifying glass. Mixed media, Micron and Posca pens and acrylics. Two coat Liquitex Gloss Varnish front and back
