The Oceanside Museum of Art is sponsoring and I am hosting this months Virtual Art Share from 6 to 8pm this Sunday, September 7th. Please come, observe, comment, and/or present.

You can share the screen to present your work or (even better) email me your image (rbchaudavis@gmail.com) and I will bring it up for you. This is an 18+ venue so standard restrictions apply, nothing criminal and/or promoting hate ideology. Other than that we look at everything. We have seen abstracts, sculpture, photography, oil, mixed media, animations, acrylics, watercolor, landscapes, portraits... all with a huge variety of subject or lack of subject, nudes, sex, and politics included. If there is anything that triggers you please tell me and I will have you present before it comes up (after which you can gracefully leave).

When presenting please ask for what kind of comments you are looking for.

When commenting the expectation is you will first respond with what you like and then with anything that you don't understand or think is off. Make your comments about the work not the artist. If you don't like anything about the work, keep silent until you find something to like.

I love this Art Share started by Larry Vogel. The artists are wide ranging and discussions are interesting and supportive.
