This is from a series of works where the underprint comes from pictures I have taken or people have sent me. All the works are 6"x18." The images have often been manipulated in Photoshop before becoming an underprint. This photo was taken by Ano as they sat on me looking down during a photoshoot that we did together. I have exaggerated the scars. They are actually fading away to nothing. I have fun introducing cartoon elements into this piece (and others in the series). My head is larger, the body smaller, the eyes were first made very green and simple, but I decided to back them up a bit and make them more realistic... Multimedia piece on cradled wood by Ampersand 18x6x2." Micron Pens, Posca Pens, Liquitex Acrylics. 2 coats Liquitex Gloss Varnish for the final coat.
