“Love is love” is a close-up photograph of what some people drew, early on. The work is mounted on a 12” x 16” Blicks primed and cradled hardboard panel. The sides and back are painted with the same blackboard paint used on the two torsos (in case someone would like to add things).

Art of Pride - Museum of Richard B ChauDavis (complete artistic history eventually...)
Art of Pride at the San Diego Pride Festival is always fun. Good people, it is a wonderful safe spot where people let their hair down and have a really good time. I have tried a lot of interactive pieces there over the years... John Keasler is a saint.

Richard Morris now has this work!

Richard ChauDavis had a booth in Art of Pride.  Along his regular artwork, Richard set up two torsos painted black with chalkboard paint.  Pride attendees were encouraged to use the provided chalk and mark up the torsos with drawings, symbols, and comments.  Periodically Richard erased the chalkboard torsos so people could start fresh.

Richard himself added glitter paint and bordered the image with a light blue acrylic.   The final varnish is Liquitex Gloss Varnish. The piece is archival, wired and ready to hang.
